Hello, my name is Joëlle Snaith. I’m a designer and audiovisual artist living and working in London, UK.

By day I’m a product designer where my focus is user experience and interaction design, visual design and prototyping. I love working in integrated teams of coders, designers, writers and researchers building products that make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. Have a look at some selected projects or check out my full work history over on LinkedIn.

By night I’m a visual artist, working primarily in the field of real-time visuals and live performance where my focus is on exploring the relationship between sound and form. I’m interested in visually communicating the feelings I have when I listen to music, and exploring the connection between what I’m hearing, feeling and seeing.

I have a residency as a visual artist at FOLD in London and speak regularly at design festivals where I love to share insights into my tools and process. In April 2020 I started minting my art on the blockchain and believe in a decentralised future where ownership and provenance of digital and non-digital assets are authenticated and verified through the use of NFTs and blockchain technology.

Commissions and collaborations include MIRA Festival (Barcelona) alongside Andy Stott, Re-Textured Festival with SPEKTRA (London), Field Maneuvers (UK), OFFF Mexico City with Aldo Aréchar, OFFF Barcelona with Joshua Davis and OFFF Vienna. I’ve collaborated with Killawatt, Counterstrike and Ancestral Voices on a number of audiovisual projects. My work has been exhibited at Digital Decade (London), Elixir Poetry Festival (Terrassa), Athens Digital Arts Festival and Sónar Hong Kong.

If you'd like to talk about working together then please get in touch. I love collaborating and learning and am especially interested in opportunities that bring together day me and night me.
